DevWorld is looking for a Backend Developer Node.js to join our tech team and help us build scalable, cloud-native solutions. You’ll work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to a modern, quality-driven engineering culture.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using JavaScript (Node.js), with a strong focus on asynchronous programming
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, well documented with Swagger and tested
• Work with MongoDB and relational databases (RDS) to ensure performance and reliability
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda functions, SQS, S3, etc.)
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Use Docker for development, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, embracing TDD and DevOps practices

What we’re looking for

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js
• Solid experience with asynchronous programming
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and relational databases
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Good command of Docker and containerized environments
• Daily use of Git, Postman, and Swagger
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Good level of spoken and written English
• A team-oriented mindset and attention to code quality

 Nice to have

• Based in or occasionally available in Turin
• Experience with Maven or Gradle
• Previous work on scalable systems or microservices architectures
