Consultant – Appeon PowerBuilder
Clariter Group is looking for a Consultant with strong Appeon PowerBuilder skills to join our team and contribute to enterprise-level development projects in a structured and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in PowerBuilder development and is able to work across database technologies and supporting .NET components when required.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Appeon PowerBuilder
- Work with relational databases, ensuring efficient data modelling and query optimization
- Collaborate with teams working on enterprise-scale development projects
- Support integration or extension activities using .NET technologies (C# is a plus)
- Use GIT or similar version control systems for code management
- Follow structured development processes and enterprise standards
- Contribute to technical analysis and implementation of business requirements
- Apply accounting/domain knowledge where relevant to application logic
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder (essential, proven development experience required)
- Solid knowledge of database development, preferably Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Working knowledge of .NET technologies (C# is a plus)
- Experience with GIT or other version control systems
- Experience working in structured enterprise development environments and tooling
- Understanding of accounting principles or previous exposure to accounting-related systems is a plus
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
- Intermediate English level (B2 or higher)
- Additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
- Able to manage complexity and work independently when needed
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and structured in approach
