In Devworld , we are currently looking for a Data Scientist with strong Databricks experience to join a growing data-driven team.

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will work on advanced analytics and machine learning projects, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of data-driven solutions on modern Big Data platforms.

You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning and statistical models
• Perform data exploration, cleaning, and feature engineering on large datasets
• Use Databricks for data processing, analytics, and model training
• Work with Apache Spark for distributed data processing
• Translate business requirements into data science solutions

Deploy, monitor, and improve models in production (MLOps mindset)

• Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Solid knowledge of Apache Spark
• Good understanding of statistics and machine learning algorithms
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP – Azure preferred)
• Ability to work with notebooks, pipelines, and version control systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with MLflow
• Advanced SQL skills
• Knowledge of MLOps practices
• Experience with NLP, forecasting, or recommendation systems
• Academic background in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
