We are looking for an Advanced Geospatial Analyst (GIS specialist) for our important Customer.

You will join a crisis management laboratory developing analytical approaches and ICT tools for situational awareness and crisis response. The focus is geospatial analysis for crisis, conflict and security monitoring, producing maps, analyses and reports for EU services in external relations, civil protection and humanitarian aid.

Work mode: Full-time on-site in Ispra.

Competenze richieste

• 10 years GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) – spatial analysis, thematic maps, data transformation & visualisation
• 10 years Earth Observation (Copernicus, Sentinel, Landsat)
• 10 years integrated risk assessments (qualitative + quantitative GIS)
• 10 years geospatial assessments for external relations / civil protection / crisis management
• 5 years real-time disaster/conflict data and rapid analytical outputs
• 5 years technical reports, impact assessments and stakeholder briefings
• 5 years crisis management domain
• English C1 or higher
• Master’s degree
• Minimum 10 years professional experience
