We are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer for our important Customer.

You will join the Information System Hosting area and take responsibility for the management, implementation and maintenance of the hosting platform: middleware application servers (WebLogic, Tomcat), enterprise file-sharing, identity and security services, containers and automation.

Work mode: 2 days per week on-site in Ispra. Living within commuting distance is essential.

Competenze richieste

• Minimum 22 years of IT professional experience
• Secondary degree (or higher) giving access to higher education
• English B2 or higher
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Middleware (Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat – deployment, clustering, SSL/TLS, JMS, JVM/GC tuning)
  • File-sharing systems (e.g. ownCloud with S3, Redis, AV/DLP)
  • Enterprise systems (HA/fault tolerance, Directory Servers/IdP, hybrid cloud)
  • Systems security (PKI, SSO/SAML/OIDC/JWT, hardening, reverse proxies, WAF, zero-trust)
• Basic knowledge of relational databases, GitLab CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift), Linux/Ansible and PRTG monitoring
